Measure the neck where the collar will sit, then pick the size where that number lands mid-range: M for 32 to 50 cm, L for 33 to 60 cm. Sizes overlap, so a 45 cm neck fits either; the M gives a tighter adjustment range.

Does the chain choke the dog?

No. It is a limited-slip martingale: the chain section tightens just enough to close the gap so a dog cannot back out of it. Fit it with room for two fingers underneath.

Can I clip a car restraint to it?

No. Attach tethers and car restraints to a harness, never to this or any collar. The martingale is for walking on a leash.

How wide is the collar?

2.5 cm across the whole range, with a sponge lining under the reflective nylon and an adjustment buckle to set the length.

How long does delivery take?
