Measure your pet's back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Pick the size whose carrier back length matches or is a little longer, so they can sit with their legs through the front.

What is the largest pet it takes?

The L has a 38 cm (15 in) back, which suits pets with a back up to about 38 cm, such as a Pug, French Bulldog, Shih Tzu or Miniature Schnauzer. Bigger than that and the leg holes sit too high, so it is not the carrier for medium or large dogs.

How is my pet held in?

Legs go out the front and the head out the top. A neck elastic band, a zip and hook-and-loop fastening close it around them.

Will they get too warm in it?

It has breathable mesh panels to keep air moving on a warm day, and the Oxford fabric body sits on thickened padded straps that spread the weight across both of your shoulders.
